2019 was one of our busiest ever, with many applications for grants, and, thanks to your support, we were able to help over 25 young people in so many different ways, from swimming lessons to custom made basketball, athletic and football wheelchairs.
Kare Adenegan competed in the World Para Athletics in Dubai in November, and finished 2nd in both the 100 metres and 800 metres in the T34 section. Hannah Cockcroft won both races, and has attributed her even more dedicated training to being pushed by Kare. We are hoping that Kare can turn the tables on her great rival at this year’s Olympics.
GOLF DAY
Our hugely successful golf day takes place this year on Thursday 9th April at Fulwell Golf Club. If anyone wishes to raise a team, prices are £300 per team, which includes bacon butties on arrival, 18 holes on a fabulous golf course, and a 3 course lunch.
