Fulwell 72 hole Golf Challenge

On Tuesday 25th June, Fulwell Club Captain, Andrew Wilson, Ladies Captain, Karen Francis, Secretary Murray Cook and committee member John Hicks completed 72 holes of golf in one day to support this year’s Captain’s Charity for READY.

They covered approximately 25 miles from the time they set out at 4.30am playing a Texas Scramble format returning gross scores 62,63, 66 and 58 through rounds 1-4. Clearly the sore limbs, blisters and some lost golf balls were all worth it as a further £3,188 was raised through donations in support of their sterling efforts.
