READY COLIN HERRIDGE GOLF DAY at Fulwell Golf Club

 

Almost 100 golfers took part in our 32nd annual golf day held at Fulwell Golf Club. Aside from one sharp shower, the weather was very kind to our golfers, who were rewarded with a course in remarkable shape considering the amount of rain that fell the night beforehand. The greens were absolutely terrific, and our thanks to the golf club for hosting us once again.

The contest was a close affair. Third on countback were Kelly’s Heroes, with second place going to last year’s runners-up W Thomas Restorations.

The winners, by only one point, on 102 points, were Three Wise Men and their Father.

Guest of Honour Sandy Herridge presented the prizes.

Our thanks also go to Toby Gold, who spoke for the charity, and to Steve Newbold, who ran a fantastic auction.

Most especially we are grateful to all the golfers, all the advertisers, and all the auction winners, who so generously helped make it the most successful golf day for a long time.
